Changes in the theology and liturgy of the Church have caused psychological difficulties for priests. Every normal man wants to feel like a husband and father, at least at the mature stages of life. The priest is no different. He needs to feel like a husband to the Church and father to his spiritual children. The modern changes in the Church have emasculated, or even feminized the priesthood.
