Dante’s Theological Guide to the Modern Church

Dr. David Allen White uses Dante Alighieri’s works to explain the problems in the postconciliar Church. In the 1921 encyclical In Praeclara Summorum Pope Benedict XV wrote “Among the many celebrated geniuses of whom the Catholic faith can boast who have left undying fruits in literature and art especially and to whom civilization and religion are ever in debt, highest stands the name of Dante Alighieri…” Dante saw that Hell was real, populated and that the souls there have chosen that path. Dr. White shows how many of the sins which Dante describes in his Inferno are often not considered sins today.
