Dr. John Rao sees the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum as having consequences going far beyond the beginning of a restoration of the traditional liturgy. It is an attack on modernity’s whole obsession with what Herr Mosebach calls “the heresy of formlessness.” Unfortunately, contemporary man’s whole political and social order is based upon this formlessness.
