He shows how Saint Padre Pio can be a model, because his life revolved around the Mass and the endless hours he spent in the confessional to breathe new life into souls. While he had the very wounds of Christ, his greatest cross was the intense suffering caused by false accusations and the abuse of authority by his superiors. He accepted this agony with an immense love, humility, and trust in God and the Church. Saints never take themselves seriously, because they are too busy taking God seriously. We must imitate him entirely.
