Archbishop Fulton Sheen considers the division and confusion the Devil always brings. He tells us that the modern world is divided, and he speaks of our “Church of Political Action.” He offers the effective method, first the spiritual, then the action. He says that we need Faith to drive out devils and reminds us of Our Lord’s lesson that they can only be driven out by prayer and fasting. Sheen says that we “need to return to the fundamental doctrine that the Word became Flesh.”
