St. Germaine Cousin

St. Germaine Cousin was a poor, pious, French shepherdess who was born with a deformed hand and arm. After her mother’s death, father’s new wife frequently abused her and forced her care for the family sheep. Her great faith led her to attend daily mass and teaching the village children. Living humbly, she died in at the age of 22 and was later found to be incorrupt.
