St. Monica and St. John Bosco

Saint Monica was married young to a pagan official who was difficult to live with and she was unable to have her three children baptized. Her persevering prayer, patience, sweet disposition, and generous charity to all eventually won her husband and most notably her oldest son Augustine for Christ.
Saint John Bosco pursued his priesthood with zeal and upon learning of the deplorable conditions of the children confined in the prisons and left to the streets of Turin he dedicated himself to rescuing them from the street life and giving them a hopeful future. Amid many obstacles and difficulties he founded the Salesian order to educate the boys in the faith and in a technical education.
A dramatization of the lives of St. Monica & St. John Bosco. Perfect for young children! Taken from: The Lives of The Saints
